The school
The Uruguayan Argentine Institute is a bilingual Spanish – English school with French and Portuguese teaching, authorized, secular and coeducational, which provides education to children and young people from 12 months to complete the Diversified Baccalaureate, with all orientations and options.

The IUA School is located in an exceptional place in Punta del Este, one block away from the beach, in an easily accessible point through the main communication routes, very close to the police station and to the main commercial, supply and service centers.
It can be visited at Parada 6 of Playa Mansa, La Forêt and Pascual Gattás Streets, and visit the facilities of the College deployed in 22,000 m2 (Headquarters and Sports Field), which offer comfortable and sunny classrooms with good lighting, ventilation and heating, as well as ample spaces for social, cultural, recreational and sports activities.

Since 1978, successive generations of graduates, with the academic and moral training provided by the IUA, have been successfully integrated in their various tasks both nationally and internationally.
From the beginning, IUA’s fundamental principles have been to bet on the best academic version, with enriched curricula in different subjects and with teachers who feel committed to the students’ education.
This human group is supported by the essential values of honesty, work and responsibility in which we are immersed, which became part of the institutional personality of the IUA and that today are part of the collective imagination.
THE IUA IS THE FIRST SCHOOL IN THE COUNTRY TO BE CERTIFIED IN QUALITY MANAGEMENT ACCORDING TO THE ISO 9001 STANDARD.
LATU systems and Quality Austria certify the application and continuous development of an effective Quality Management System in “English Language Teaching in Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary Education, Comprehensive Education in Kindergarten and Primary Level and Personal and Academic Follow-up of the student”.
