Activities for parents
WELCOME
The school offers the parents’ community a variety of activities that promote health and integration. Weekly meetings on common interests – in addition to providing opportunities for leisure and recreation – facilitate the development of bonds of camaraderie and solidarity that naturally result in lifelong friendships. They also generate “think tanks” from which ideas, projects and initiatives emerge, for example to organize trips or improve services and infrastructure for the benefit of the students and the entire IUA family. Historically, the Parents’ Commissions strengthen the School’s proposals, achieving a powerful synergy that expands the horizons and the range of possibilities for our children’s futures.

CHAMPIONS!!! – IUA MAMI VOLLEY TRIUMPHS IN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP OF ADIC 2019.
Competing for the Silver Cup with two teams this year, guided by their coach Leon Rajmanovich, IUA WHITE was crowned Undefeated Champion and IUA BLUE achieved fourth place in the ADIC National Championship.
Congratulations for the trajectory and for the excellent results!
We share a partial transcription of the article published on the official website of ADIC – Educa con el Deporte:
“The competitions between parents have acquired a very special place and relevance in ADIC’s structure, due to the passion with which they play, the effort they put into enjoying and having fun, and the love and dedication with which they face the activity, which becomes a reason for the children to understand the purest aspect of the sport through their example.
In this context, the Uruguayan-Argentine Institute (IUA) of Punta del Este, became an unavoidable reference in MAMI VOLLEY, for the way they are dedicated to prepare and for the results they achieved, with a historical journey” that is not reduced to 2019 but extends since in 2014 they disembarked in ADIC competitions.
Mommy Volleyball in the IUA is 15 years old, but for the first nine years it only competed at the regional level, in the Fernandina League, until 2014 when it was linked to ADIC.
Daniela Packe, delegate of the IUA Mami Volley team, former student, carries in her heart “memories of going to play in Montevideo, with Tassano, the school principal, in a Combi. I was 12 or 13 years old when we went to play in ADIC. That was our first contact with the Association, which we remember fondly these days”.
