A bilingual Spanish-English pedagogical proposal promotes in young people a mentality open to the challenges of the 21st century and prepares them to respond to the demands of tertiary education at a national and international level.
The official curriculum is enriched by our Institution in the Basic Cycle and Baccalaureate. The latter offers all orientations and options.
The Educational Projects methodology is used, which allows an interdisciplinary and transversal integration.
In English, in addition to working on linguistic aspects, academic contents are studied through the teaching of different subjects within the framework of the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education), a Cambridge University syllabus designed with an international focus. Thus, the different areas initially worked on in Primary School through the Cambridge Primary Curriculum are deepened in Secondary School.
The linguistic competencies of the students are guaranteed by the Cambridge English exams: First, Advanced and Proficiency.
The teaching of French continues in Secondary School, enabling them to obtain the DELF diplomas, granted by the French Ministry of National Education.
In this cycle we begin teaching Portuguese with international certification from the University of Cambridge.
The use of information and communication technologies contributes to the development of new skills and ways of constructing knowledge in our students.
The IUA has a wide range of sports and artistic proposals that contribute to the integral development of young people.
Psychological and psycho-pedagogical support and vocational guidance complement the educational offer.
