Spanish-English Bilingual Proposal

We designed an institutional program for English language teaching (IUA ELP), which begins to be applied in Early Childhood Education and extends through the end of the Secondary School cycle. It was created to be used in parallel and complementary with the different international content-based programs.

The IUA ELP provides our students, in a gradual and progressive way, with the necessary tools to take the recognized Cambridge University exams (First, Advanced and Proficiency) which evidence and certify the linguistic competence achieved.

Based on the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) methodology, which is the integrated learning of content and language, we add to our institutional program those designed by the University of Cambridge to be applied in bilingual schools.

In Primary we use the Cambridge Primary Curriculum, which prepares students for the next stage in their education.

In Secondary we continue the work started in Primary through the different subjects that make up the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education).

Since the IUA has been distinguished as a “Cambridge International School”, our students are part of a global community that has the necessary tools to perform successfully in a changing world like the one we live in.
