Visit to OSE’s drinking water treatment plant

Secundaria IUA looks for answers outside the classroom and listens to the protagonists.

On May 29, students of the 1st year of IUA High School High School made an educational, integration and recreational outing, starting with a visit to OSE’s water treatment plant in Laguna del Sauce.

There they learned about the process of water purification and were informed about the problems that exist today due to the supply logistics of the capital and its metropolitan area and the management of water resources.

This activity was coordinated and conducted by science teachers: Eduardo Olivera (Physics), Milena García (Biology) and Ximena Graña ( Chemistry), accompanied by teachers Silvia Silvera (Literature) and Camila Alberro (Physical Ed.), Magela Urruti, Assistant Director of Secondary and the seconded Santiago Gutiérrez.

Students and teachers completed the day with lunch and a visit to the Pan de Azúcar Hill Reserve.
